Blackberry Season.
May 7, 2009Well it’s almost backberry season in middle tennessee. By the price of blackberries in the produce section last night? it must be already blackberry season somewhere.

I want to go berry picking this summer: blackberries, strawberries and blueberries!!!! I wonder if I could take of my shoes to do it? Maybe not such a good idea. But that’s ok cause I have a hunch that for me picking berries? it would be just like every bush is afire with the goodness and sweetness of God -f lip flops or not.
Yippee for the coming of berry season!!!!!!!!!!!! Taste and see. Taste and see, God is good.

I laughing now because I can assure you picking blackberries is no place for flip flops, much less bare feet. Long pants, long sleeves and boots are appropriate clothing. There are thorns and snakes and all manner of unpleasantness when it comes to picking blackberries. Best alternative–get up early on a Saturday and head to the Farmer’s Market. But it’ll be a couple of months…they’re barely blooming right now.
